Delivery is charged at a flat rate of £4.95 for UK addresses. Delivery methods vary, but include Royal Mail, UKMail and ParcelForce, depending on the size and weight of your purchase. Overseas purchases will be sent via the most cost-effective delivery service available.
We always want you to be happy with your vintage purchase from Ember Gate. If you are based in the EU and would like to return your purchase, please notify us within 14 days of receipt and return the item within 30 days for a full refund. As a small independent business, we cannot currently offer free returns, so the cost of return postage is the responsibility of the customer.
We accept all major credit and debit cards on this site using Stripe as our payment processor. You can also choose to pay by PayPal
If you're planning a vintage or country-themed wedding, party or event and would prefer to hire rather than buy props, then do get in touch. All Ember Gate stock is available for short term hire, saving you the expense of purchase and the dilemma of what to do with the items after your event. We can provide enamel jugs for dried flower displays, tin tubs and buckets for storing cold drinks, and terracotta pots for table centrepieces. Please contact us with your requirements and we'll be happy to help make your event everything you hope for. Props for events within a 20 mile radius of St Albans will be delivered at no charge. Other locations will be charged at a rate of 45p per mile.
We are also pleased to work with florists, garden designers, PR professionals and visual merchandisers to provide vintage props for hire for window displays, in-store features, show gardens or photo shoots.
Free of charge loans of vintage pieces are available to selected print or online publications. Please contact us with your press requests including details of the intended feature, editorial or photography spread.
